The Rzeczpospolita daily newspaper has published its list of '500 Most Profitable Businesses in Central and Eastern Europe' for the eight time.

The ranking, prepared in cooperation with Deloitte, scrutinised 881 companies from 19 countries, whose revenue was translated into euro at the average 2012-2013 exchange rate to ensure comparability.

Grupa Azoty ranked 62nd, having advanced from its 98th place last year, as it reported a 37.5% year-on-year revenue increase. This result puts Grupa Azoty on the 21st place in Poland in terms of revenue, right behind such companies as PKN Orlen, PGNiG, Lotos Paliwa and BP Poland.

Grupa Azoty's move up by 36 places is a great success attributable to the dedication of both the management staff and other employees who have been building the Company's position for years.
